Day trip to Sequoia National Park

Entering the Sequoia Park on a Sunday. The haze is smog not fog. That mountain is 12,000+ feet at the summit ~ an indicator of the invasive nature of snog created in the Central Valley. The Valley is at and below sea level. The smog rises as the temperature of the Valley rises and the winds blow pollutions down from Sacramento and Fresno. Still the majesty of the Park is breath taking and inspiring.
